Writing For The Web
Writing for the internet, or web writing as it’s often called, is becoming a common way for writers to earn money.
Web writing differs from other forms of writing by the way it’s written and the way it’s set out.
When reading online (whether it’s a web page or an eBook page) readers don’t want to be faced with large blocks of complicated text. Instead the writing needs to be succinct, quick to read and with plenty of ‘white spaces’ to help stop eye strain.
Writers can do web writing for clients by writing content for their web sites or blogs, writing downloadable reports or eBooks or by establishing their own online business and writing web copy, downloadable reports and eBooks for themselves.
These days it’s becoming more profitable for writers to work online for themselves because the internet has made it so much easier for writers to make money from their own online businesses.
It’s now much easier to use the internet for research for anything you need to write about, so it saves a lot of time and leaves more time for writing.
It’s also possible to Write an EBook in as Little as 7 Days and sell it for $20 or $60 a copy.
Setting up a web site costs very little and is easy and you can use ClickBank.com and Commission Junction to find other people’s products to sell for a commission. Then add a few Google AdSense Ads to your web pages and you’ve established a potentially very profitable web site.
You can then drive visitors to your web site by writing free articles (with a link back to your web site) and uploading them to article directory sites.
Then you can go on writing short reports and eBooks and affiliating to more products and adding more pages to your web site.
And before you know it you’re running your own very profitable online business.
