Copy Writing

Every writer needs to learn copy writing, whether they want to be a copy writer or not.

It’s very important for any writer to learn to write copy.

Copy writing is the art of selling through written words.

Copy writers are the people who write the words in advertisements, sales pages, brochures, catalogues and any other place where great copy writing is needed.

And why do all writers need to learn copy writing?

Because at some stage, and perhaps several stages, you are going to have to sell something using only your written words. Whether you’re selling your writing services, your articles, your short stories or your books, you are going to have to use your copy writing skills in order to make a sale.

Good copy writers can charge up to $5,000 an hour, or more in some cases, so if you can do our own copywriting you can save money. Your copy will also be more accurate if you’re writing about yourself, because no one knows what you can do better than you do.

And if you find you are good at copy writing, you can always think about doing it for a living.

But whatever you discover, if you want to be a successful writer you need to be able to market yourself and your work.
